When I first received the SDD I plugged it into the same PC and put a few files on it to test it, then formatted it without problems. When I plug the drive into my Predator Helios PC through the USB-C port, it first recognizes it, but then throws a generic error saying it does not recognize the USB device and instructs me to unplug and replug it in, which repeats the warning. I don't understand why this is happening, as this camera also sees that the device is formatted exFAT.ģ. To do anything with the drive in the "B" camera I would have to reformat the drive, which would lose the footage I do have, which I am trying to avoid. As mentioned, the drive is formatted exFAT and I can play back the recorded video/audio on the "A" camera, but when I connect the drive to the "B" camera, it recognizes the drive, but does not see the recorded footage. I don't know why it won't record however and would like to understand.Ģ. The resulting recorded video shows on the camera and I can play it back there. When I hit record again, however, the camera would not record. Immediately checking the drive, it showed almost 2 hrs of recording time left. About 10 minutes into a recording (a speech) I received an error saying it had stopped recording. I started recording on camera "A" and everything went well.

I am trying to understand why and what to do about all three:ġ. Three things happened when I used this setup the first time. Both cameras are set up to give warnings if frames are missed but keep recording. Both cameras are set up to record BRAW, Constant Quality, Q0, 4K DCI. I connected the drive to what I will call the "A" camera and formatted it exFFAT there. I have two new BMCC 6K Pro cameras with a new SAMSUNG T-7 1TB SSD. Please forgive and guide me if I am doing this wrong.
